LifeBridge Health CEO Honored with ACHE Regent’s Lifetime Service Award

The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Maryland Association of Health Care Executives have honored Warren A. Green, president and CEO of LifeBridge Health, with the ACHE Regent’s Lifetime Service Award. This award, which was presented at an event on October 18, celebrates Green’s 40-plus years of dedication to the health care profession.

ACHE’s membership includes more than 40,000 health care executives from around the world and has more than 80 chapters that cultivate networking, training and growth opportunities for the current and next generation of health care specialists.

“I am humbled to be recognized by this elite group of individuals, each of whom has a personal commitment to pioneering new research, education and career development that will continuously move our industry forward and help millions of people,” said Green. “To be acknowledged by one’s peers is also very gratifying.”

Green’s career in health care began when he was a lieutenant in the Medical Services Corps in the U.S. Naval Reserves and has culminated as the chief executive of LifeBridge Health. He presided over the merger of the Sinai Health System and Northwest Hospital to form a new health organization in 1998.

Under his stewardship, LifeBridge Health has become one of the largest and most comprehensive providers of health services in northwest Baltimore which also includes Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, Courtland Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and related subsidiaries and affiliates.

LifeBridge Health employs more than 7,000 staff members and is affiliated with more than 1,500 physicians. It has been recognized by Fortune magazine as one of the Best 100 Companies to Work For and by both the Baltimore Business Journal and Baltimore magazine as a Best Place to Work.
